Guest guest
HUGS It's wonderful what a hug can do A hug can cheer you, when you're blue A hug can say, " I love you so " Or, " I hate to see you go " A hug is " Welcome back again " And " Great to see you! " Where've you been? " A hug can sooth a small child's pain and bring a rainbow after rain The hug, there's no doubt about it We scarcely could survive without it! A hug delights and warms and charms It must be why God gave us arms Hugs are great for Fathers and Mothers Sweet for Sisters, Swell for brothers And chances are your favorite Aunts Love them more than potted plants Kittens crave them, Puppies love them Heads of States are not above them A hug can break the language barrier And make your travel so much merrier No need to fret about your store of 'em The more you give, the more there's more of them So stretch those arms without delay And give someone a hug today! ~ " We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other everywhere. " ~ ~ " If I could reach up and hold a star for every time you've made me smile, the entire evening sky would be in the palm of my hand. Guest guest
I bookmarked that page! Obviously they had a camera in the room during my son's last IEP! I too have been in meetings all week (and last week) and more to go next week, probably not going to get much accomplished, since I have a child with a disability and I can't expect much. I truly thank you for that web site and you for the <HUGS>. <HUGS> back to you. Theresa kjsa3612 <kjsa3612@...> wrote: I totally understand. HUGS back to you. Not to make light of your situation but I ran across this the other day and thought you could use a pick me up. http://www.fetaweb.com/humor/gilman.iep.htm ( ) HUGS Just wanted to offer HUGS to everyone who's having a bad day (like me). School meetings, evaluations, out of touch school psychologists who would rather sit with their thumbs up their a$$es than be nice to parents (excuuuuse me for asking for a copy of the evaluation form, and *gasp* how DARE I ask WHEN the next meeting is?), etc etc.... Aren't parents/teachers/psychologists all suppose to be part of the " team " ? I haven't played many team sports, but I do know that if the whole team isn't on the same page, the team doesn't succeed. Uggh. HUGS

Guest guest
Hi , Hugs to you. It does get better, especially when they know the parent isn't going to give up! Stay strong. I found out the more you stay quiet the easier the day is for them and our children lose out. I also found out the more people you go there with, (support, advocates) the less intimidating they are. Ask them how can we all work together to help my son? Good Luck <freecyclemail@...> wrote: Just wanted to offer HUGS to everyone who's having a bad day (like me).
