Guest guest
, My brother has a terrible time with the gout. His does come from food. I know pork will give him a terrible time. He has had this problem since his heart transplant four years ago. I believe it is all related. My brother is 48 and is dying, there is very little time left. The arteries at the bottom of his heart are collapsing. He had a heart attack at Thanksgiving but didn't know it. I can not imagine my life without him, I have loved him since the first time I saw him. There seems to be nothing that can be done. However, I have begged him to go for a second, third, whatever opinion. I don't know if he will or not. Right now he only wants to fish. He would never listen to the doctors or do what he was suppose to. I think what will happen is he will have a heart attack and that will it. I try not to think about it, it is just to awful. Guest guest
Hi, Lynn! My brother and father have also had a few attacks of gout. I know part of it is in their genes. That's sad about your brother. I'm sure it much be painful and scary to watch him decline, but only he can choose to go a different way. Maybe he thinks it won't really help. What a worry. I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
, This is a terrible time. I just can't imagine my life without him. I know his lifestyle caused all this, but for some reason I have always forgiven him. I use to take him everywhere with me. This just didn't have to be this way. He has managed to destroy two hearts in his life time. It could all have been avoided. Now we are going to be left with how to be without him. He actually has a heart of gold. Lynn wrote: > Hi, Lynn!
