Guest guest
, I haven't contacted my RA yet about my bronchitis. I probably should but I have been prone to get bronchitis since I was a baby. I hadn't gotten it in about 5 years. I have been so careful not to be around anyone with a cold - anyone sneezing or anything like that. I also doped myself up with extra vitamin C and my folic acid if I had to go to the doctor's office or even shopping. I felt as though I was paranoid careful of being around anyone with a cold. I have been sick now for about 14 days. It seemed to get better for a couple days and then it was back - I run a slight fever in the evening but nothing drastic. I keep telling myself that if it isn't gone by ...I'll call the doctor. Well, I guess if it isn't gone by next Monday I will go and see my doctor. I guess I may need some medical help to get rid of it. I keep thinking that it was a mild cold that increased because of my allergic reaction to the wood that was burned in the fireplace to bronchitis. My nose is running and I am sneezing. My throat is on and off raw and sore and my eyes are itchy and gunky feeling, I have my normal bronchial cough... In the past it has just worked it course and the doctors have told me to just stay quiet and drink lots of liquids to keep from getting dehydrated - they have given me cough medicine to help with the cough - so I have been hoping that if I just stayed quiet and drank the liquids that it would go away. I am still hoping. The weather is warming up which should help and I am moving a little more then I had been. I promise though if it isn't gone or better by Monday that I will call the doctor's office. Hold me to it please because I will procrastinate a lot about calling the doctor. God bless, Althea
