Guest guest
Hi Sweet People...I've been getting increasingly flared the past couple of weeks. I'm have difficulty walking, turning my head to the right, using my hands, yada, yada. I'm right on schedule with my mtx and Humira. I saw my rheumy today, and he ordered Humira weekly - which we didn't know if my insurance would go for - but it has been okayed. He rx'd morphine, sent me for labs and if I don't feel better soon will have to do another prednisone taper. He is very hopeful for me to have bariatric surgery - though it won't eliminate the RA, PsA, etc, it will take pressure off my joints, and a lower body weight might enable me to need less medicine, such as Humira. I'm sorry I haven't been much of a support lately. I love you all dearly, and keep you in my prayers. I'm praying for some great health improvements this year. On another note...Em & I went to get in our car the other day, and someone had " keyed " it in a number of places. Of course we thought of our troublesome neighbor, but she was not home for a couple days. So...? I don't have the energy to be mad, I just feel tired and sad. Em and my other kids and friends would like to kick some hiney, but whose? All my love... Tess
Guest guest
Dear sweet Tess, Your a support whether you post or not! sorry you're flaring, but maybe your doctor will get you straightened out. Any idea when the surgery will be yet? I can sympthaize with the neck problems--had an MRI & xrays today--don't know yet wha'ts wrong but the therapist said this morning my left side is higher than the right. When they were done with the MRI I couldn't raise my head--she had to do it for me! Sorry about your car--can you call it pin striping? Hugs to you, Judi
Guest guest
Sorry that you've been feeling so rotten, Tess. I hope the weekly Humira does the trick and brings you relief. Don't worry. Just write when and if you can. That fool who did that to your car! What is wrong with people who do things like that? I'm casting an evil spell on him or her or them from here. I'll tell you where to go!
