I take topomax for my migraine headaches. I had one that lasted for 3 months

about 5 yrs ago and my doctor tried everything and nothing had worked until he

tried topomax. He started me out on 50mg a day then gradually moved up to 250mg

a day. I still get breakthrough headaches and i take aspirin free excederine and

thats enough to keep me headache free. Hope this helps :-)

I also take Topomax for migraine prevention, if one occurs I take Imitrex.

Sticking to a anti-migraine diet has been a HUGE help, just as helpful as my

medicines:

I know how torturous migraines can be, these have been the only things that have

ever helped me.
