Soft Gingersnap Cookies

2 1/4 c flour

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp ginger

1 pinch salt

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup margarine

1 egg (beaten)

1/2 c molasses

2 tsp baking soda, in

2 tsp hot water

Mix all ingredients together.

Chill dough for one hour.

Roll into small balls by hand, dip in sugar, then slightly flatten onto an

ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350* for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool slightly and enjoy!
