Guest guest
, welcome to the group, I think. Please help me to understand. Do you have Rheumatoid Arthritis? I see you say you have fibromyalgia. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and osteo-arthritis. The first Rheummy doc I had said I have fibromyalgia and my current one says no fibromyalgia and does not believe in fibromyalgia which is fine with me. One less thing to deal with! LOL Are you looking for a group on for fibromyalgia. I have been told there are quite a few. Some which are quite nice. There is also hugs-n-pain group which is for anyone with chronic pain. Many of us are on multiple lists for different topics. Sorry I can't offer you more with the fibromyalgia but I know others here that have fibromyalgia can tell you of a good group if one exists. Here is the name of one that someone forwarded a good article off topic to me. Try this group: fibromyalgia_discussion . Sorry to hear about your daughter. I hope she is doing well now. Why did her kidneys fail? Did your hypertension improve after the kidney was removed. I can see why the docs were discouraging you from donating the kidney, but I guess you do what you have to do. Sorry to hear about your son. I could not even fathom the lost of a child. It appears you have been though a lot. I can see how this would be very depressing. You missed an article that was posted on religious beliefs and pain control. Not sure if you were a member when it was posted. If you search back throught archaives for the past two days you can find it. Or can someone out there repost it. We each have our own way of dealing with lives trials and tribulations. I personally believe religious beliefs are something very personal and private. You know the three things you never discuss; religion, politics and money! LOL After having many bad experiences with zealots I avoid those topics! Well, I hope you enjoy the group. I really do! Having the support of others with RA like me has been great. They have exposed me to all different treatments, meds and ideas. There is a member her that posts lost of excellent research material on RA and related disorders. I find them to be very helpful.
