Guest guest
Sounds like a typical day in my house! I just had a friend tell me about a guardian angel. This will give you the chills. My friend's boyfriend's cousin was murdered Saturday night in our town. A stupid, senseless murder. They were at the VFW (in a bad part of town where they all grew up) and two 18 year olds kept coming in drunk and probably drugged up, demanding alcohol. The bartender kept telling them to leave. They would leave, then later come back in. The last incident they took a picnic table from next to the building and blocked the parking lot, then sat there and started drinking more. The bartender went to call the police (finally) and three of the guys went out to tell them once again to leave and they were going to move the picnic table. One of the boys hit one of the men in the face with a beer bottle and the other pulled a knife and slit another man's throat. He died almost immediately. My friend's boyfriend is not particularly religious but does have a guardian angel clip on the sun visor of his truck. Sunday morning (not yet knowing his cousin had been killed), he got in his truck and the clip fell and hit him on the head. It has never ever fallen off before. Shortly after that he found out about his cousin. He would have been there too if it hadn't been for my friend's son being sick and had to be with her at work (she's a doctor). She called her boyfriend to come over and help watch her son while she worked. He would have been there, right in the middle of it all. He later realized that was his guardian angel reminding him that he did have angels around him. Maybe your angel statue was reminding you of your angels. Becky [ ] Oh, what a morning! Hello everyone,....I hope everyone's day is going better then mine. My daughter is out with the stomach virus. Well she decides to start chasing the rotweiller pup all over the house, while I'm in the shower. He bumps into the desk, and knocks over a beautiful angel statue that I got for Christmas from my oldest daughter. And then to top it all of, he throws up all over the house. I just feel like going back to bed, and throwing the covers over my head, but of course I can't. I wonder what will go on next? take care Tawny
Guest guest
Becky,....what a terrible senseless murder is right. My goodness, people are getting so mean, it's scary. Guest guest
Hi , the easy thing for me to say is: What a jack ass. But I know that won't help you feel any better. Hang in there and comfort yourself in the best way you know how: A hot bath, ice cream, read a book, go to a movie, etc. Cheers!
