Guest guest
Hi, I did not fall into a hole! LOL The weather here in Texas has been very strange the last few days. It stormed and rained most of the weekend and yesterday it was warm but super windy. By 5pm yesterday the temp had dropped almost 20 degrees and it was getting cold. Its 28 outside right now as I write. I knew I was infor a ride. I started swelling and getting painful! I did all my homeopathic treatments last night so hopefully I could get some sleep. I used Sombra rub in all my painful joints, took all my suppliments and went to bed! For those that do not know. I am off all my Rx meds due to finanacial problems. I hope to restart soon. I wanted to restart next week...but mail order pharmacy is not that fast. I will get to start my Enbrel and MTX next week. The rest will have to wait until it gets here. M worst joints right now are my elbows and knees. I ruptured a bursa in my right elbow back during the summer. My doc injected it with steriods and lidocaine to make it strink back into place. It finally got much better only leaving some strange, itchy painful skin. Well it started back acting up about 6 weeks ago and it has been getting worst. My doc does not want to inject it and pretty much has been ignoring me on my complaints about it. It has a terrible lump on the end of it now. Its hard like bone. I guess this may be some sort of bone deformity. I have been off meds for a long time. I can bend it fine its straightening it out that hurts like heck! Both elbows hurt but the right one is the worst! My right knee also has bakers cyst that doc again refuses to inject! It too hurts like heck. It has been locking up, collapsing when I walk and hurting pretty bad when I walk. It feels like walking on glass. Its funny cause if I bend it part of the way it feels fine, but straighten it up or bend it all the way( like sitting in a chair) and it hurts! Well, the good news is I finally got approved for long term disability(LTD) from my job. It will start in March but it is better than what I have had in the past six months of no income at all. I have to pay for my health insurance $150 a month and meds $101 month out of my $1023 check but at least I can help hubby some with the bills. I hope if I do get approved for SSD that I can keep both. I will have to check the rules at my job. I also got a form from the LTD for Vocational rehab evaluation and retraining if I qualify. I have mixed feelings about that one. I would love to return to work but I really would refer to work out of my home. With the constant diarrhea, vomiting, dizziness, and headaches from the MTX I don't think I wold be of much use at a job. At least at home I can take my labtop to the bathroom with me! LOL The advances of technology and wireless internet connections! well, to those that are not feeling well, I send my prayers and wishes for speedy recovery.
