Guest guest
I prefer Madhava Agave Nectar over Stevia, it doesn't have an after taste or alter the flavor of things. Agave nectar is a 19 on the glycemic index compared to white cane sugar which is a 60. Not all agave nectar is produced safely. I have researched Madhava and know they only use water to produce their agave nectar. If you are going to buy agave nectar please research the brands available. Any questions ask, I'm not shy. Take care of you, you're important to me. Big gentle huggles, Di (Dimntd) in Feasterville-Trevose, PA, USA ) Be the person your pets think you are. I have grown Stevia and it was fun to give a leaf to someone and see the surprise on their face at the sweetness. I believe it's in the mint family. I've not taken to most forms of Stevia that I've tried, there seems to be a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Perhaps that passes with time and perhaps I tried using too much, I know quite a few people who use it all the time. I liked Truvia, but they say they took the 'best' of Stevia to produce it which makes me wonder if and/or how it may have been processed to produce it. I've never bothered to research it though. I use Turbinado, Demarara, sugar, no more than I use. A bit in my tea in the morning.
