Guest guest
I posted this once and it got lost so am trying again. I hadn't been here since Friday because so much has been going on. My (sweet) husband finally decided to sand the floors in the back bedroom. I have been asking(nagging?)him for months to do. We had pulled up the carpet to find nice hardwood floors but they are in terrible shape. Well, he decided he would do it this past weekend. So my BIL and hubby pulled all the furniture out of the room and started sanding the floor. I left at 5 to go to Sat session of Conference. I got home at 11. My hubby was here but no one else. About 11:30 my BIL walks in, doesn't talk to anyone and goes to his room. My hubby goes to bed about 12:30. I am sitting in my chair watching TV - very pumped and not sleepy from conference. My niece comes in and we talk for a minute then she goes to bed. About 15 minutes later, my BIL comes out of his room after opening and closing the door at least 5 times and goes to the bathroom...bang bang bang in the bathroom and then back to his room. 5 minutes later my niece is back in the living room. My BIL is taking a **** off our front porch and had woken her up and told her to get out of her bed - he pushed the furniture around and the headboard from the back room fell over and went into my wall. Okay that was the start. At 4 o'clock he was still at it so I went in and woke hubby and told him to take care of his brother... I fitfully slept for about 3 hours when I had to get up to get ready to go to Sunday Conference. I went outside and my trash was all over my driveway...my glass door was hanging by one hinge...I told hubby and had to leave my ride was here... I worried all day what was going on at my house. Conference was great...We had a General Authority there and it was humbling to be in his presense. Tonight Hubby and I talked and he said he didn't know what had gotten into BIL but that BIL doesn't remember anything of what he did. I don't know what to think as I am still recovering from my bronchitis and the lack of sleep didn't help me. I didn't sleep yesterday either as my sick Cat(lymphoma cancer) faded away. I stayed up with him in my lap calming him. He was in pain and I will miss him but glad that it is over and he isn't hurting anymore. We had him on chemotherapy drugs but he was too weak to fight anymore. He was a sweety and will be sorely missed. Now what else can happen. I shouldn't ask should I. I hope nothing - I hope the rest of the month is just lazy and quiet. I feel like I am living in Peyton Place. I don't remember all these things going on in my parents life or did my parents just shield me from this stuff. I have more to tell you about dear BIL but for now need to rest. I am on the downside of my bronchitis. I think the extra sleep I got last week and not doing anything helped a lot. I felt a little worse today but chalk it up to my lack of sleep for 3 days then to my bronchitis getting worse. The cough is still there but expect it to hang around for a couple months as usual.
