Guest guest
High heels? What are high heels? I don't even like low heels anymore. , I'm glad that's an ex-boyfriend. Clueless! I'll tell you where to go! Mayo Clinic in Rochester http://www.mayoclinic.org/rochester s Hopkins Medicine http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org [ ] > I know what you all are talking about. I am relatively heallthy and know that I am very lucky when I hear about waht you all are going through. But I am surrounded by 22 year old (i'm 35 - with RA). I remeber what it was like to be their age and be healthy and active. They are a very compassionate group but I know that they do not understand. I just recently was told by an x-byoyfriend that I need to dress like one of my classmates (she gets dressed up al the time and wears nice clothes and heels). He thinks that if i did that I would feel better about myself and would then be better able to deal with life. But then again, he's the one that told me I just need to look at the positive things in life when I told him that I was suffering from depression and on meds for it and was having an espeicially diffiult time with my recent flair. > I know that I'm not alone, butI wish I could go back to how I felt before I had RA - that healthy, very active 22 year old that was 100 lbs lighter before the pain and medication became a regular part of my life. > > Good luck to all. >
Guest guest
Zappos is the best! If you need any formal/fancy heels, I ordered Too Coy's " Coco " from Zappos. I got tons of compliments, the suede was soft and didn't give me blisters, and it's a really pretty shoe. Guest guest
I want to wear High Heels again..But with one foot and ankle reconstruction, 1 knee replacement and the coming in Jan..There is no way I can wear anything but flat or a very small wedge that is no higher than my Nike's.. I always wore High Hells in my late teens and 20's. I think that is the thing I miss the most since RA hit when I was 14 and now 51....And yes I have cried once or twice when I walk through and looked at the high heeled boots...Wear them while ya can girls Pamela in MD Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T
