Hi all

I just wanted to warn you about the following fellow who pretends to belong to a

translation company. Apparently he is a well-known scammer from Nigeria.

He tells you first how much work you would receive per month and how much his

company pays per word. Afterwards he claims that the only conditions to be hired

as a freelance translator is to complete a short test, pass the test and also

buy a program which contains the company’s translation memory for 250.00$.

Since I was very suspicious I sent a horrible translation with many typos etc.

Of course he never noticed and said that my work was excellent. Afterwards he

told me that I could start right away but have to buy the program before. Of

course I never did.

His name is Adakole but maybe he will create a new surname.

I hope this will help you out as I found out afterwards that many of us actually

paid these 250.00$ and never received any program.

Have a great day.

Warm regards.
