Wow...I just got some news, and I don't know where to start...

I have a favor to ask all of you....you guys have always been there for me

when I needed you. If it weren't for the support groups, I don't think I

would have made it through the last year...and now I have yet another favor

to ask...

Today was the first day of school for me. The day went really well...until

the manditory drama club meeting. Everybody was suspicious all day as to why

we were having such an urgant meeting the first day of school...well....here

goes:

My drama directors little boy, , has cancer. I've known him since he

was almost a year old. He is now 4 1/2. He has been fighing the cancer

since birth, with no luck. He went through his chemo a few weeks ago, and

after a bunch of CT scans, chest x-rays, and basically, pictures of the whole

body, they've found that the cancer has spread to his lungs.

Right now, he is undergoing another treatment which is experimental. If this

helps enough, they will surgically go in and try to get rid of anything and

everything, so that they can do cell transplantation.

Unfortunately, the doctors aren't very optomistic. They told his parents to

talk to him about dying, and explain it to him the best they can. They've

said that they believe he has about three months...at the most.

goes back in for more x-rays and stuff on August 31st to see if he will

be able to undergo the operation. Which has VERY high risk, and is

experimental.

Any prayers would be greatly appreciated. This little guy is such a

sweetie...the thought of anything happening to him is just killing me.

Please keep him in your prayers.

Thanks guys

Violet

Violet, Consider it done. has been added to our prayer list, and

I'll take it to our church Sunday. I firmly believe that prayer changes

things. If it doesn't change the circumstance ( which it certainly can

), it changes our attitude and ability to deal with the problem.

I want to second Trish's suggestions on the web sites. I have found the

" ixpress " site to be very good.

Please keep us posted on !
