I tend to try my herbs first and then, when I have to, go to

allopathics. I've had a few incidences of interactions and even a

couple of cases of not being able to use certain herbs due to

personal intolerances.

I'll often add an herbal treatment to the allopathic medicine after

researching it and then let my doctor know the next time I see him.

Few doctors seem to know much about herbs and I delight in educating

them when I can, even to their skeptical looks. I take literature

with me and encourage them to at least include it in my file whether

they read much of it themselves or not!
