Guest guest
Hi , I also have jaw pain, in my left jaw. I have been associating it with my RA. Someone I know with Juvenile RA said that she had RA in her jaw. It does seem to bother me more when I have a painful night, so it might be from clenching my jaw because I am uncomfortable. Sometimes in the morning, it is a little difficult to eat breafast, but it usually doesn't bother me throughout the day. I have 2 other questions for the group. I am having some foot problems which I believe are associated with my RA. When I stand, it feels like there is a marble on the ball of my foot near the 2nd and 3rd toes on each foot. More recently, the arches of my feet hurt. It feels like a lump or irritated muscle. I don't have an appointment with my rheumy for 2 more weeks, but I am afraid that the only treatment he will offer is a shot of cortisone. My preference would be some sort of foot support. I am currently waiting for the plaquenil to kick in, which I hope will help to resolve this problem. Does anyone have any information about minocycline as a treatment for early to mild RA? I have read some references that have said it is effective and one that even suggests that it might be more effective than plaquenil. Thanks, I appreciate the help that this support group provides. - land
