Guest guest
Thanks Anjillah, If I start to not get relief from the med I am taking now, I certainly will look into the Duragesic patches...I sure do miss nursing too. Once a Nurse always a Nurse..It is like a sisterhood/brotherhood. I am glad to hear from you again also.. It is sure nice to be back on line...Love...Louise Re: Pain Issue Dear Louise: It is so nice to see you posting again. I always enjoy reading your emails. I don't think you know me. My name is Colletti and I am also a member of RA-Support. My email is Anjillah@.... I am also an RN but haven't worked in 7 years. I sure do miss it, but that's another long story. I have RA, spinal stenosis, DDD, osteoporosis, asthma, atelectasis, osteoarthritis, and a kidney transplant for the past 18 years. I was also on dialysis for 18 years before I had the transplant. Yes, I worked as a Nurse while on dialysis and while I had the transplant. However, with the RA and my bad back and my problem breathing I can no longer work. I wish I could return to work but they can't seem to do anything to help my breathing problem. As far as the pain, I am using duragesic patches. They are wonderful. They don't make you sleepy or drugged and they really help the pain. Well, I just thought I would tell you about them, in case you were interested. I would love to hear from you is you get a chance. Sincerely, Colletti Anjillah@...
