Guest guest
Computers vs Age By Grady L. Duncan I have, too often, heard it said, by people that are my age, " I’m just too old to learn it, and join the computer rage. " " It’s too hard to understand. " " It’s for much younger minds. " They don’t even try to learn, so they are left behind. Who was the Father of such gadgets? Not this generation, that’s for sure. ‘Twas the mind of a, now passed, " Geezer " ; that’s the truth, simple and pure. Where’s their zest for knowledge? Do they believe the stuff that’s said? You’re never too old to learn, unless you’re declared " Brain Dead. " Don’t blame it on your years, nor give in to what they say. It is easier than you might think. You can be a nerd some day. Take it from one, who knows, You don’t have to be a kid. After you have finally learned, You’ll be awfully glad you did. It opens up whole new worlds, connecting you with long lost friends. Those links that, once were broken, can be found and renewed again. I’ll never regret the efforts, I had to apply to learn. Now I’ve renewed old friendships, and cherish their fond returns. New friendships have been established, that have grown stronger day by day. People that would never have met, sharing our thoughts in a special way. Now in these twilight years, I’m thankful for those I’ve come know. Days that would have been lonely, are brighten with friendship’s glow. ~ " We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other everywhere. " ~ ~ " If I could reach up and hold a star for every time you've made me smile, the entire evening sky would be in the palm of my hand.
