I didn't notice that they were one of the co-sponsors but will now be certain to introduce myself to them at the exhibit hall. And, of course, pick up a business card or two for any future need that might arise.... Since you brought this expo up..... I would like to take the opportunity to mention to everyone that I will be attending this expo on behalf of the new nonprofit organization, the National Uterine Fibroids Foundation. We are anticipating incorporation to occur very soon (within the next week, perhaps!) and I have already made arrangements to share an exhibit booth with , the founder and President of Uterine Fibroid Foundation, Inc. out of North Carolina. If you are planning on attending this conference, please stop by our booth to say hello. Also, I am working on both the website and a poster for the National Uterine Fibroids Foundation (NUFF) and am in desperate need of photographs. If you are someone who has been helped by a treatment for your uterine fibroids and have photographs of an " active " you today, I would certainly like to place them on the NUFF poster or on the NUFF website. If you have the ability to send me a .jpeg online, please do. If not, you can snail mail me your photos to: Carla Dionne NUFF photos 1132 Lucero Street Camarillo, CA 93010 Please include a brief note giving me permission to use your photograph and indicating that you do not require payment for the use of the photograph (because I can't afford to pay!!!!). I've attached a sample photo of me and my son rollerblading so that you can get an idea of what I'm looking for. The poster will ideally be a collage of women participating in an active lifestyle -- the one thing we all hope for with finally getting treatment for our uterine fibroids. I want it to be a poster of " hope " with the logo " It's all about.... Quality of Life " and would certainly like to include as many photos of women I know as possible. Won't you please help? As soon as NUFF is incorporated, its website home will be the following: http://www.NUFF.org It's " under construction " right now, but will be unveiled the day we officially incorporate. Bookmark it for future reference. One more request, if there any women in the LA region who have had their hemoglobin restored to normal after treatment of their uterine fibroids, will you please contact me? I need your help in participating in a blood drive with Red Cross as part of the public announcement of NUFF. Time to give back some blood on behalf of all of the women who have required transfusions due to their uterine fibroids, don't you think? Email or call me if you'd like to participate.
