Tawny,

this is nothing to putz around with. Please, go se

the doctor soon, yesterday if possible. If for no

other reason than to find out that it isn't serious,

and you'll habe your peace of mind back.

Tawny, please do call. That's serious. It's extra-serious since you're

on Humira.

What do you mean it's a secret? Do none of your physicians know? They

never felt it on an exam?

I'm so sorry you're worried, but please don't let it go any longer.

I'll tell you where to go!

Tawny,

I agree with , please call ASAP - Today - Monday - is my birthday and I

would like a present from you!!! Confirmation that you called one of your Dr's

and was able to get in. I am sure one of you regular Dr's will see you

without insurance and work with you. Especially because this sounds potentially

serious.

Thank you!

Tawny, please get this looked after right away. Any lump is potentially

dangerous, but many, many times they are a type nodule and can be dealt with

easily. Rather than worry yourself sick about it, let your doctor know. Please

try not to be depressed, we are all here for you whenever you need us.

Tawney,

THANK YOU! You have so much spirit and joy that it shows in everything you

write - I hated to guilt you into making an appointment - but when you are 56

you are allowed a few pieces of guilt to get the point across ( that you care

and it is important). Please let us know what the Dr. has to say.

Gentle Hugs,

Carol M. in CA

(((Tawny)))

You've certainly got my prayers, and you know God has never left your

side, now get going and get to the doctor, insurance or no

insurance! Being depressed, scared, worried, isn't going to take

care of you, and it may not be as bad as you fear. A way will open

up financially if necessary, but please please please get some

medical attention immediately! We love you!

Tawny, I am really worried for you and thinking about you. Whatever else you

do, please do not get scared and cancel that appt. I am saying that as a

friend and as a nurse. You need to be checked and soon. There are a lot of

things that can be done for lumps, tumors, cancer, whatever it is...but no one

can

do a damned thing to help you if they don't know about it! So

pleasepleaseplease keep that appointment! I once had a patient who had a breast

lump and

was afraid because her mom had died of breast cancer. Her fear kept her at home

and no one knew about it-for years. I don't want to upset anyone or gross

them out, but by the time she came in it was much much too late. There was

necrosis (tissue death) and it was bad. Fear can be powerful, but medicine can

really help fix and cure things if you let it.

Good Luck, Tawny. I am thinking of you. Cary

Cary, I have an appointment on Monday, so hopefully I can find out

something. I am really scared. I try to deal with all the medical

problems I have now, and I have just let myself go. I was checking

my breasts last night, (I don't do that either) and I notice a

difference in my breasts. On one there is a hardness. The other one

under the breast I feel a hardness type, just different. I have

large breasts so it has always been hard for me to tell. The doctor

told me that large breasts usually tend to be, " lumpy. " I finally had

a chance to just cry, and I feel a little better. I'm just trying

not to worry so much. Please say a prayer for me, Tawny
