Dearest Alan...I'm so happy you are doing well, as is your family! I've

started weekly Humira injections (along with MTX) and I am really

starting to feel like the RA is being controlled.

I am hoping to have bariatric surgery this spring. I have tried for so

long and worked very hard to lose weight. I have certainly seen some

benefit from even gentle exercise, but the weight is so stubborn.

Please keep me in yoour prayers.

Hey, if I get some weight off and come to Chicago to visit all my RA

buddies sometime, will you take me for a ride in your cool car? : )

That is wonderful about the Humira and MTX working. I will definitely

pray that you will get the surgery you need and come through it with

flying colors. I know that you have been praying that something could

be done to assist with your weight loss. All my best to you.
