Guest guest
Hi....I haven't had any major stinging with Humira - a sharp but brief sting once in a while. There is almost always a bruise, but the needles are quite a bit bigger than the insulin syringes I use. I take 30 shots a week - 28 insulin, 1 Mtx, and 1 Humira. I don't like it, but guess I'm rather used to it. I will be thrilled if I get off insulin down the road. Love... Tess
Guest guest
I'm glad to hear someone doesn't get that burning with Humira. I think maybe you must be really tough since you get so many shots a week! I'm almost ashamed to complain about one shot every two weeks when I know how many shots some people get. Do the insulin shots hurt much? Do you mean the Humira needles are fatter or longer? I've never looked up close at needles before until I started the Humira. I must admit in the past I was a fainter when it came to needles. I give blood regularly and that doesn't bother me at all (as long as I lay down a little longer when I'm finished giving).
