I'm hoping that my WBC count will start to go up soon so that a bone marrow aspiration won't be necessary. Before my father died, I think they did one on him in the hospital. I was there at the time, and he seemed to be in a great deal of pain. I was helping to hold him down. They had a gigantic contraption and a very long needle.
