Guest guest
Wanda, We went to Las Vegas on a trip that my husband won at work. We stayed at Mandalay Bay Resort, it was huge. You probably know this, but when you get to the airport and they ask you if you need a wheelchair - say YES. Las Vegas Airport is HUGE and the staff will help you get to the where you need to go. The Staff were absolutely wonderful to me. They even got my luggage for me. It was a little embarassing, the man pushing me stopped in front of the ladies room, he leans down and whispers - It is o.k. I will wait for you if you need the Ladies Room. He was trying to be so discrete. He directed my husband to a Cab and helped load the baggage. Yes I know it was his , but many people went above and beyond the call to help me thru the security, baggage, etc. And I do not look especially sick and my hands do not show the changes yet; I was juest a freckled faced redhead with a ponytail. I rented my scooter at the hotel, you can also rent a wheelchair, but the scooter is better. Las Vegas is very dry and usually hot, so please be sure to drink alot of water to keep yourself hydrated, nothing will deplete your reserves more. Hope this helps. Gentle Hugs & Prayers, Carol M. in CA
