Guest guest
Thank you for that information link. I have had some pretty painful problems with my cervical spine for quite some time (degeneration of C5, 6 & 7 with arthritis). Over the past several months the pain and periods of immobility have gotten much worse. It takes every muscle to hold my head up and the neck muscles tire quickly and easily causing even more pain. Lately (the past 8 days) I have been having little spurts of dizziness any time I move my neck in any direction. The dizziness only lasts about a second but is intense and happens. well, can you count how many times you move your head (couple hundred times a day) even slightly. I've had to quit driving because of it. I have been telling my rheumy about my neck since I started seeing him, he just " ah huh " and that's it. Well, ONCE he said it could be part of the RA. MRI's show that nerves are compressed and also a slight compression on the spinal cord. It's starting to scare the heck out of me but none of my Dr's seem to listen or acre about it. Do they think I am making it up or is it really not as serious as I feel it potentially could be? I printed off the page you sent me to take with me to my hearing, hopefully by then I will have learned what some of those $3 words mean LOL. Thank you again :-) Many prayers every night to everyone in the room.
