Vivelle dot & STRANGE TASTE + effect on fibromyalgia

I just started the vivelle dot .0375 last week. I was not able to change the patch until 5 hours after I should have.

About 2 hours after the patch was due to be changed, I experienced a bizarre kind of burning sensation and extremely unpleasant feeling/taste in my throat & mouth. The tip of my tongue also felt numb.

These symptoms completely disappeared w/in minutes of putting on a new patch!

On the PLUS side, I have noticed a dramatic improvement in my fibromyalgia/ joints since being on the patch!

Has anyone else noticed either of these effects?
