embolization vs hysterectomy

I notice that some list members opt for hysterectomy rather than

embolization.

Why? - Is it because of cost, because insurers won't cover u.a.e., or

because the latter procedure isn't available locally? To what extent are

medical reasons, such as the wish to absolutely exclude malignancy,

influencing decisions?
