Guest guest
We also feel that they are often experimenting on us and not giving us all of the info we need. Slightly off the subject, but, at my 3 year olds well check last month the pediatrician (who I will remind you is VERY conservative........) says, " is Trip up to date on his shots " (while looking at the records). He then says " good. " and looks very relieved. Since our doctor is a dear friend as well, I felt comfortable asking why he looked relieved. He said that so much more information was coming out that immunizations were responsible in many cases for autism that he was just concerned and was glad that Trip was already up to date. He had just been reading some material that bothered him. I asked him then about my son Micah who would be due for shots again in another month. He just shook his head and said that at this point they were still recommending that we get the shots............ I know that this was off the subject, but it is just more of the same... We often ask ourselves why and how we got into the medical care field???? We certainly don't get paid to manage our health care. As far as I can see...we pay doctors, and doctors, and therapists, and cranial tech, and we pay the insurance company out the wazoo and we still spend hours each day working to pay them, worrying about treatment or lack of, and then trying to get them to do their part and pay.................................AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Laurie in Tuscaloosa > so just to finish the b-fest - BTW, your baby's head will never be the way it would have been before the pp. > sorry about the ranting. > Liz > Just makes me wonder what else she could have that no one will point out until its too late, and I'M NOT PARANOID, did someone say I was?
