Guest guest
I work 36 hours a week in a doctor's office laboratory, and have been having a harder and harder time lately, just keeping up. A couple of my coworkers are sympathetic to my difficulty in moving lately, but I also have an under 30 boss, who said he found it amusing to watch me try to cross the street when it's slippery out (I told him, as long as we aren't in the building yet, I'm going to tell you, you are an ass.) I also work with several younger women in their 20's, who think I'm being lazy if I have no energy. On top of my lack of support at home, it's been kind of rough lately. I decided this week, I have to cut back on hours. I need to work, but 5 days a week is too tiring. I'm cutting back to 4 days a week. My boss was actually understanding for a change, and said he understands. I was amazed. Course I think probably some of my coworkers had been complaining that I'm not doing enough, but in reality, I told him I know I've been coasting. I think the extra time off will help me immensly I also think I need stronger meds than the naprosyn and minocycline. I sure don't want prednisone, but maybe it's time for something stronger.
