Guest guest
http://www.biospheremed.com/ Lots more info on BioSphere Medical Inc., the company with the relatively new product being used in embolization. This company was formerly called BioSepra but changed their name to represent their new device direction with microspheres just last May. It's most interesting watching the marketing of a new treatment for uterine fibroids and the race to capture the market on " the " device that gets used with this procedure. Apparently our collectively combined fibroids are worth a few billion dollars annually to pharmaceuticals and device manufacturers who are all racing to get a piece of the pie. Sigh. One can get really cynical watching businesses hovering like hawks over their prey. Oh well. All I really want is for women to get the care they need to end their suffering from uterine fibroids. I guess there's no way around the use of these products to get to that end. Sure wish there was though. Indeed it's the only thing that ever has. " Margaret Mead
