Anita,

Sorry to hear aboout your ERCP/pancreatitis experience. I had the same thing

happen in 1993. It will probably take you a while to feel like your old self

again after losing 30 pounds in that short amount of time. Did you have to

be in ICU or on a vent? If so then it will take even longer to feel ok.

Meanwhile, get plenty of rest and watch the fat intake.

Take Care,

Anita G,

I'm sorry to hear of your confirmed diagnosis of PSC. Although it's not

an easy diagnosis to help, it does give to closure to wondering what's going

on.

Love,

Hello Anita,

I don't suppose that having any disease is good but it is better to know

that it is definite rather than just maybe.

Take heart, you are among friends. I've been diagnosed for 5 years and

as long as I keep taking the pills I don't notice it much. I had a

slightly 'ify' weekend but I feel fine this morning.

I wouldn't mind losing 30lbs but also don't want to go through what I

went through 5 years ago.

Don't forget the old saying " as one door closes, another one slams in

your face " <g>.

Also: Every cloud has a silver lining... That is hiding a rain cloud

<bg>.

Steve.
