Guest guest
Hi, Welcome to new members. I'm rather shocked by this top one. Doctors are still saying stuff like that " ?!? The " get my levels up " is pure WP talk. I know, I wrote the first FAQ and the first patient insert after attending several support meetings as well as running this group as a WP support place. At the time I interacted directly with over 200 women and several doctors who were trying to make the WP work. The WP is the dosing schedule in the back of SLM and NOTHING LESS. Anyone who is simply doing individualized rhythmic cyclic dosing then calls it the WP and says she is doing fab is leading other women astray. Please don't call individualized rhythmic cyclical dosing the WP. And new members, please read the interview with Dr. Formby on rhythmicliving.org It was pretty eye opening for me. He wrote the literature experts specifically for us so we could understand what was happening. They are dense. My solution was to use lots of estrogen to get thru the detox (see archives from may, june july 2005), but that was me. Everyone is different. I concluded that it was the best option to protect my organs after spending a lot of time talking to Dr. Formby about the issues. This is not always the best option for some women. We each have our unique metabolisms. Laurel New members anon comments below... ____________________________ Comment from user: started protocol Feb. 1 - feel lousy just like everyone posting. Dr. talked me into 1 more month to get my levels up, but it doesn't make sense to me - hope this forum helps Comment from user: I have just started month two on WP & having problems. Yet, on typical, low-dose replacement I've used in the past, it was far from enough. Comment from user: I used WP for a mere 6 weeks but had devastating problems. What started as an effort to boost my low estrogen became my journey through hell. I want answers & to share my story!
