Hi and everyone..when I lived in NYC I ate fresh fish 4 times a

week..very available and very good....then here in Jersey (near Philly )..it is

more

expensive and a bit off of what I was used to...so now it is 3 times a

month....after trying atkins(meat city diet) I noticed alot more achy ness..sooo

I

do believe it would help to eat salmon as much as possible...I have to listen

to my own advice..don't know why ..I am a bit stubborn these days???? Have

a good one..Love Liz

, not all omega-3s are created equal. Here's a good article

which explains:

California Healthspan Institute

" Omega 3's in health and disease " :

http://www.californiaantiaging.com/treatment/omega3.asp

Flax oil is an excellent source of Omega-3s, but provides the " short

chain " type. This site has some handy charts:

Tufts University School of Medicine

Nutrition & HIV Research

" Omega-3 Fatty Acids " :

http://www.tufts.edu/med/nutrition-infection/hiv/health_omega3.html

I'll tell you where to go!

Mayo Clinic in Rochester

http://www.mayoclinic.org/rochester

s Hopkins Medicine

http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org

[ ] Omega 3 fatty acids
