Guest guest
, not all omega-3s are created equal. Here's a good article which explains: California Healthspan Institute " Omega 3's in health and disease " : http://www.californiaantiaging.com/treatment/omega3.asp Flax oil is an excellent source of Omega-3s, but provides the " short chain " type. This site has some handy charts: Tufts University School of Medicine Nutrition & HIV Research " Omega-3 Fatty Acids " : http://www.tufts.edu/med/nutrition-infection/hiv/health_omega3.html I'll tell you where to go! Mayo Clinic in Rochester http://www.mayoclinic.org/rochester s Hopkins Medicine http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org [ ] Omega 3 fatty acids > Does anybody know if the omega 3's in flax seeds is > the same as that from fish oil? If not does it do the > same job in the body(reduce inflamation, etc).
