I had an unusual experience Sunday at Taco Bell. I had gone out and made a few

stops before deciding to bring home Taco Bell. I was only gone about an hour

and felt really horrible so I went through the drive through and ordered 36

tacos (large family and usually a few extra teenage boys around). I was told

after I ordered that the limit was 20 tacos, that I would either have to drive

back around to get the rest of my order or go inside. Of course, there were

several cars behind me or else I would have just left. When I got to the

window, I saw a toll free number with a note saying something like " how did we

do " so I called and told them how they did! It was kind of funny! I was on the

phone when the girl handed me the order and the man on the phone was asking her

name and the order number on my ticket. She left the window and bought the

shift manager to the window. I remained calm, proceeded to give his name, he

disappeared and another shift manager came over. He told me it was corporate

policy. I told the man on the phone that it was corporate policy, that I had RA

and if I could have gone inside in the first place easily I would have and I

really didn't feel like taking home cold, soggy tacos because I had to wait

another 20 minutes for the second half of my order. The man on the phone said

there was no such corporate policy. The manager then said he would give me the

rest of my order (after I mentioned the Americans with Disabilities Act) at the

window. I went to pay and he said it was free as a courtesy. I kindly thanked

him and went on my way. I wonder if they have now changed their policy. The

customer service person said they would have someone call me back. Still

waiting for the call. What a hassle, just to get some fast food.
