Guest guest
Let us know how he's doing after his surgery. I hope he gets a good workman's comp settlement. Becky [ ] Tess Oh Tess, I was so sorry to read about your daughter. Unfortunately drug abuse affects so many more people then the user realizes, as you very well know now. I will keep everone in my prayers for a good outcome. Good luck on your surgery. I know that you have looked forward to this day for so long and that you did not postpone it because of what's going on. My hubby is having his 2nd surgery in as many months this Friday. He was hurt at work and when they went in the first time there was too much damage to repair at that time and they found out that he had much more extensive damage then they thought they would find and did not have permission to fix it then. With the lawsuits these days they have to protect themselves. Hopefully the will have good results but his shoulder will never be the same as it was before the accident. I know I don't post much anymore but I do try to read most of the posts. Take care. Barb
Guest guest
So glad to hear you talked to him. I was getting scared that something bad was happening. Tell the nurses the next time you call that she comes from a large family! Becky [ ] Tess Hello all I called and spoke with Tess's Son on Thursday and he said she was doing well and it was planned for her to move to regular room out of ICU on Friday. I can only assume since I called today and she is still in ICU that she was not ready to move yet. I will try back later. But since she is in ICU they only allow calls from family only. I have been lucky to catch family in the ICU waiting room. Her son asked that we do continue to pray for her and her family as the go through this ordeal. He was also shocked that his mom had so many internet friends when I told him the whole group was praying for her. Keep praying everyone! Guest guest
I spoke to Tess and she is doing very well according to her doctors. Tess wishes she felt a little better, but that is to be expected so soon after surgery. She is still in ICU and may stay there until she is released, so she still doesn't have a phone in her room. Her main problem is back spasms that are worse than the surgery pain. She sends everyone a big hug and misses us all. a
Guest guest
Tess, It's good to see you posting again. That must mean that you are getting better. Be sure to get plenty of rest in your new recliner so that you will heal quickly. Sounds as if your daughters are taking very good care of you. How lucky you are to have them.
