Guest guest
Thanks , such great information you have been posting. This one is of particular interest. Quite often I am asked if the Enbrel is working, do I feel better etc. To be honest, I really do not know. Some joints are better some are worse and some intolerable pain. However, according to my rheumatologisr, I am improving, so I guess in some ways I am LOL. I will be seeing her on April 18 and it will be interesting to see what she says about the tremendous amount of pain I have from the buttocks to just below my knees, even when I am laying down. As for the ankles, well we won't even go there since I can't even get a preliminary appointment with another ortho until November. Not even sure if I want any more surgeries at this point in time. Fortunately, my little GoGo scooter allows me to continue teaching and I can zip around most of the hospital corridors easily. I use wheeltrans which picks me up and takes me anywhere I need to go and this allows me to keep the independence that is so important to me. Hubby can't understand why I don't just let him drive me everywhere. MEN, they just don't get it. Hope everyone here on the list had a nice Easter. Guest guest
You're so welcome, June. Good luck at your appointment tomorrow. I'm sorry you've been in so much pain. I wish that your physicians could do more for you and in a more timely fashion. Sorry that Don doesn't understand your need to be independent. I'm happy that you have the scooter. I'll second that - MEN !!! (Males in the group excluded, of course.) I'll tell you where to go!
