Sue, What a terrible day you have been through, I'm so sorry. I feel

the same way, sometimes it would be better just to stay in bed, with

your covers over your head. I tend to fall quite a bit, so I know

how you feel. I will be praying that you heal quickly, and you have

no problems in the future with your knee, hugs Tawny

Sue, I'm relieved that June said she found this water adventure of yours

funny first because so did I. In fact, I was laughing out loud and had

to read it to my son (12). Of course, we weren't laughing about your

knee injury and hope that the swelling and pain subside.

No more trying to learn how to swim alone!

Did you enjoy your cruise last month? Did you tell us and I missed it

somehow?

I'll tell you where to go!

Thanks, Kathy, I hope it heals soon, too. It still hurts quite a bit,

but Tylenol helped a little. This episode put a halt to my yard work

for a while. But there's so much out there that needs to be done. We've

had very few days warm enough to do it. But today it was hot. We'll

probably skip spring and go right into summer. Sue

Don't be sorry, June, about laughing. I was probably a funny sight. I'm

glad my husband wasn't at home because he would have laughed. I haven't

told him yet, either. In spite of the pain, I've been laughing about it

myself. Sue

, it's perfectly okay to laugh at my water adventure. In spite of

the pain, I've been laughing about it myself. I'll never hear the last

of it from my husband, IF I ever decide to tell him.

I think that the pond is evil and just sucked me in. <grin> A couple of

years ago, I was working in the yard. In order to drain the water out

of my husband's old antique cast iron wash pot, I turned it over. Well,

that thing started rolling and rolling, and I couldn't catch up with

it, so it rolled right into the pond. It hadn't even been close to the

pond. I wish I had that on video because it was so funny. After about a

year, my husband finally was able to see it and get it out.

I don't know when that pond will claim its next innocent victim. LOL

I enjoyed my cruise (most of it, anyway) and just haven't had time to

tell about it. I'll do so before long.

Thanks, Tawny, your prayers are greatly appreciated. I usually don't

fall a lot, thank goodness, but once in a while it's inevitable, I

guess. I think maybe my pants got caught on the wood as I was throwing

it in. Sue

Boy, June I'm glad you said that because I was sitting here feeling guilty for

laughing about it.

Sorry for your bad day Sue, but it does make a funny picture. On the down

side, I fell and bruised my right knee on three different occasions before I was

diagnosed with RA, and I really think that those falls have caused the knee to

be as bad as it is.

So sorry, Sue, but I can't stop laughing at the picture you described of your

fall into the pond. I am really sorry your knee is so sore and hope a good

night's rest will help.

Sue,

What an awful day it was. I have to admit when I was reading your note I

started to get the giggles. I didn't mean to giggle mind you but it just

struck me funny as I was reading it. Hope the knee is doing better tonight.

Keep up the ice and no more throwing heavy objects near large bodies of

water.

Oh Sue!

So sorry about your injury, but I'm glad that it didn't turn out to

be a worse injury. Here I thought I had the market cornered on weird

accidents! Please take care of yourself and try to stay out of ponds

with heavy objects!

Sue, I believe that's the sort of incident that is perfectly OK to keep

from your husband, LOL.

The strange events related to the pond are starting to sound like a

King story.

I'll tell you where to go!

Oh Sue!!!

I would've laughed if it was a joke instead of a true story! It was kinda

comical and horrible at the same time......I sure hope you are feeling a little

better by now. Not swimming, falling in the pond must've been REALLY scary!

I'm glad you made it out without help.

Sue

Maybe you should write a King-like book about the evil pond. Then

you could pay someone to do all that darn dangerous work around it!

Cary, go ahead and laugh! Even I laughed after it was all over.

Laughter is good for the soul. And if we can't laugh at ourselves,

we're taking life way too seriously.

My knee, by the way, is much better now. It's only slightly sore. I

think that I will make a full recovery. LOL.
