Dr. Lee never said it cures all fibroids -- sometimes it slows their

growth. If someone read " cure " into it, we can't control that. We've found

that they seem to be exacerbated by stress more than anything else. A

laparoscopic myomectomy is absolutely the way to go for removal.

OK, I got out my copy of Dr. Lee's What your Doctor May Not Tell You about

Pre-Menopause. Section on fibroids from page 96 to 102. First, there's a case

history of a woman with a huge fibroid. She was told to change her diet, use

progesterone cream and got a shot of Lupron. Seven months later her fiboid had

shrunk to a manageable size. Knowing what I do know about Lupron, I'd like to

know how her fibroid was a year and seven months later after the effects of the

Lupron wore off.

On page 102 Dr. Lee says: Now let's say your doctor recommends using some

progesterone cream....That may be the last time you ever see that doctor, except

to return for the ultrasound a year later, which will show that your fibroid has

gone from the size of an orange to the size of a walnut.

I'd call that misleading, if not deceptive. Notice the use of the verb WILL. My

fibroid went from the size of an orange to the size of a grapefruit on his

regimen in nine months time.

I emailed Dr. Lee and asked about UAE but never got an answer. Strange that they

would recommend myomectomy, which does involve surgery, over a less invasive

procedure. I'd like to know why. But I'm having a UAE anyway. Just got insurance

approval yesterday.
