Guest guest
Hi Judith, I'm sorry to hear about your RA diagnosis, but you have come to the right place for information and support. a and , our fearless leaders, can always find information on any question you might ask. And the rest of us have been where you are now and understand what you're going through. It sounds as though we have a couple of diseases in common. Within a year, starting in March, 2002, I was diagnosed with shingles, RA, bleeding ulcer and anemia, and breast cancer. I already had type 2 diabetes and Fuchs' corneal dystrophy. My breast cancer was caught very early, thank goodness, and now even my RA is well controlled with Enbrel. Most of the people on this list have more than one disease, so you will be in good company. Hopefully things will start looking brighter for you before long. It is overwhelming to get a diagnosis of RA, but today there are medications available that can help. So hang in there and ask any questions you may have. Sue On Friday, April 9, 2004, at 10:25 PM, Judith Voter wrote: > I have been wandering all over the websites looking > for some answers. Guest guest
Dear Judith: I am Sorry to hear about you diagnosis. I am not sure I have many answers myself yet but I know you came to the right place. I do not post often as it is painful to type let alone write. I became fully disabled about four years ago because of severe degenerative disc disease. I also am sure they are connected. The spine has connective tissue and that I think is what is diseased At least I know it must be with a diagnosis of SD. Ask the group about that. I have been doing some research but the two leaders of this group I know, will know these answers. I do not have a rheumy at this time but at least I have my Medicare>LOL Peace and Love, Jacquie from the FL. Keys
