Guest guest
guess I need to clarify- I am in a semi rural small area- with 3 choices for the 5 times or so a week we eat out, LOL. - except for the once a week or so we drive over an hour to someplace like Olive Garden or Applebys or something. Never ever have we been comped for ANY kind of mistake no matter what kind, and having been a watiress in similar restaurants for 20 years I can be quite patient and tolerant. We do let a lot of things slide- but no matter how many times we say I cannot handle the plates and neither can my son, that problem persists. I was mostly just curious if it happened to anyone else. When we point out my braces then the wait staff instead hands the plates to whoever is sitting next to me for them to pass around, even when the entire table has space around it for the wait people to walk around it. BTW for good service we have been known to tip 50% ----- but when we get blatantly crummy service even after we politely request the staff to place our plates- we tip 10% Our normal standard tip is generally 30-35%--- and most of the wait people knw that. SO usually thing do go well. (becuz we go the same places so often) - In , " witchyzing " <delphina@p...> wrote: > Hey, > > I go out to restaurants quite a bit, meaning once or twice a week. > I usually go back to a place, where I have received good food and > good service.
