Guest guest
I was plenty dirty when I was a kid, LOL. As long as I lived at home, we didn't even have a bathroom. So I don't think that I was ever too clean, probably not even clean enough. I also got all of the childhood diseases. When you have six children in the family, these things tend to get passed around. I remember when Mother and Daddy went to work in the fields and left me to babysit for my younger brother and sister. They got into the Exlax, and I went to the field to tell Mother. While I was gone, they went next door, where the two children there had red measles. My siblings got into bed with them, of all things! Of course that allowed us to get measles out of the way, after a fair amount of suffering and being made to stay in a dark room for a week. And I still got rheumatoid arthritis, even with all of my exposure to germs and dirt.
