I believe Reynolds used > this option--, are you still reading posts? > The fibroids that can be removed via hysteroscopy are the submucosal fibroids( pendunculated or not). If that is what you have, I'd certainly be willing to talk about my experience (or you can find it in the archives). It sounds like yours are outside the uterus - submucosal are inside (which is why they can be reached through the cervix without an external incision.) I was told that an ultrasound could not necessarily distinguish fibroid location. My understanding is that the ultrasound was used primarily to determine existence and size, so it might be helpful to have an office hysteroscopy if there is any question as to location. By symptoms, mine was classically submucosal. Even though I had an ultrasound, the ultimate diagnosis that they were submucosal was made by hysteroscopy. _________________________________________________ FindLaw - Free Case Law, Jobs, Library, Community http:///www.FindLaw.com Get your FREE @JUSTICE.COM email! http://mail.Justice.com
