Guest guest
For a simple, fast meal, nothing beats a pressure cooker! Throw a package of pork chops or chicken legs in the microwave to thaw for a few minutes while getting everything else ready. Heat up burner, put on the pot, add the rack and a quart of bottled tomatoes (or use canned ones). Bay leaf, garlic, minced onion and miinced carrots, salt. Break up the partially-thawed meat into serving pieces, put it in the pot, put on the lid, adjust heat and put on the weight. Cook about 15 minutes and it's done. While it's cooking fix instant rice, mix cornstarch and cold water in a bowl to thicken the juice, and make a salad. When the meat's done put into a casserole dish, add the cornstarch to the pot and thicken the sauce, pour it over the meat and serve. Same goes for non-tomato-based meal; just use water instead of tomatoes and add powdered milk to the cornstarch mixture. Use instant potatoes for this for a change. This is a great quick Sunday dinner without going to a lot of trouble. ~ " We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other everywhere.
