Guest guest
Hi a, and welcome to Florida! What part of Florida have you moved to? I'd been inactive for quite a while and I missed out on the details. Anyway, I'll bet you're glad to be moved in now. Love, Carol [ ] I'm finally moved Hi everyone. I'm finally in my new house in Florida. Moving was an experience I hope never to repeat. It was a life altering experience that has opened my eyes to many things. I will definitely think twice before saving anything. I'm in love with my new house and am enjoying the 80 degree days. Having no steps is glorious. Welcome to all the new members. I'm one of the moderators of the group along with , but have been offline while moving to Florida from NJ. I'm 49 and have had RA since I was in my 20's but it is doing much better with the help of Enbrel. My biggest challenge is coping the the damage already done. I have had both knees replaced and need a few other new joints. The cold damp northern weather has bothered me and my dream of moving to the warmer climate has finally come true. I hope it helps. When I visited my parents in Florida, I always felt better, so hopefully I will be able to lead a more painfree life. It will take awhile for me to catch up with everyone. a
Guest guest
a, I am so glad that you got moved, and you love your house. I know that you are enjoying the wonderful weather also. You never know how much stuff you have, until it's time to move, and then it all seems to come out of the woodwork. I am so glad that your back with us, I have missed you Tawny > Hi everyone. Guest guest
Thanks Carol! I¹m in Naples on the west coast. I¹m VERY glad to be moved in. It was much harder than I imagined. How have you been feeling? I hope your battle with depression is getting better. a .. > Hi a, and welcome to Florida! Guest guest
Thanks Tawny. I¹m sorry to hear about your fall and hope your hip is better. a > a, I am so glad that you got moved, and you love your house. I > know that you are enjoying the wonderful weather also. Guest guest
a, It's good to have you back. I missed you. I can only imagine how hard moving must have been. With all the stuff I have, I don't know if I could stand it. We have a full basement, and it's chock full of junk. If I ever do move again, I don't want a house with a basement, because then you'd just have to throw your junk away instead of keeping it around. I hope the warm Florida weather will help your arthritis. I keep thinking that here in NC we'll get some warm weather, but so far it's been only a few days now and again. Guest guest
Sue, I had an attic like your basement but worse than that was a garage, garden shed, boat house, and other out buildings that were stuffed with a 20 year accumulation. My attic and 2 of the bedrooms were stuffed with things my children left when they moved out several years ago. We only had 6 weeks to pack and get the house ready for sale. I¹m blessed to have family and friends to help. I have no basement, attic or outbuildings so keeping things won¹t be a problem. The weather here has been beautiful, in the 80¹s every day and cool at night. I hope the warmer weather comes your way soon. It will make swimming in that pond of yours a little more tolerable LOL! a > a, > > It's good to have you back. I missed you. I can only imagine how hard > moving must have been. Guest guest
Yes I did Sue. The vision of it gave me a chuckle. I¹m just glad you weren¹t hurt. Funniest Home Videos would have loved that one. a > a, I see that you read about my water adventure. It was warm the > day I took my plunge, LOL.
