Guest guest Posted July 5, 2006 Report Share Posted July 5, 2006 Autism cases were almost 40% more common in children not exposed to thimerosal through vaccines, than in children who were, in a study of 180 autistic children in Montreal, Quebec. In the cohort studied, autism rates were increasing at the same time that use of MMR vaccines decreased. The study concludes there is no relationship between use of thimerosal or MMR vaccines and autism.
