Guest guest
Light vs darkness, shadows: Have you ever been afraid of the dark, or are you afraid of the dark now? Well, I am. I hate to be outside by myself, or go down in the basement, at night. I am just certain there is something lurking there ready to pounce on me. Then our minister pointed out to me that no matter where you are, even in a totally dark, windowless room, you can find light. All you have to do is shut your eyes and picture a cloudless sky, bright sun shining, or a brilliantly lit ballroom with crystal chandeliers, or sunlight shining through a stained glass window. Bingo! Instant light! One night I was sure there was a burglar lurking in our bedroom, and I was too terrified to even move. The phone was on the other side of the room, so I couldn't get up to call 9-1-1. Ron wasn't home. I waited for the burglar to attack. Finally I fell asleep, certain I would wake up dead. I looked over to where the thug was, and saw my clothes that I SHOULD HAVE HUNG UP, piled on the chair. Don't let darkness frighten you too much, and don't let shadows fool you. (And hang your clothes up at night!) Peace, Judi
