Hi All,

Does anyone have a source for a high protein cookie as a dietary

supplement? We did get them a long time ago; very tasty and well

received by my elderly population instead of the basic canned

supplement. I thought Ross Nutrition had them and then sold the

product to another company. Any help would be appreciated. They also

worked well with fluid restricted patients.

Thanks in advance,

Cece

Cece, there are several high protein recipes that may be of interest to you.

Please consider checking the following website as well:

http://www.allrecipes.com. One can alter the advanced ingredient pull-down

list, as desired. They have many recipes that can be made quickly, i.e.,

no-bakes, pumpkin muffins, high protein cookies ...etc., and also contains the

nutrient analysis for each recipe selected. With that being said, this will

enable you to view the grams of protein provided in that particular recipe..

Good luck!

I have patients who have tried the Re-gen Nutra-balance high protein

cookies. They also sell high protein cookies that are appropriate for

people with diabetes. But watch out - some contain trans-fats. I don't

recall which flavors, but check the label.
