Guest guest
Hi a.... We have never camped at their campground but it is beautiful! We took a tour on our own last time we were down. I would LOVE to camp there but its such a long ride for us. We love to go camping. We recently got a seasonla site at our favorite campground near home. We set up last weekend and plan to go out this weekend...even if just for the fishing derby My girls 10 and almost 15 like camping too. They like to make Smores..and Mountain PIes--do you know what they are? They are fun to make...usually we do the pizza ones We also have a boat! We are looking to get a raft or tube type thing to tow behind it--we are not into water skiing....lol Probably break our necks. So towing behind is the next best thing We are looking forward to some SUMMER weather. Its been a miserable year as far as rain and damp weather. We are doing Disney Dec 23-Jan 2 this year. Cant wait! They have always been very accomodating of us and his scooter. I am involved in the Relay For Life Committee with our local cancer telethon. I started volunteering to answer phones and one thing led to another. Now I got my daycare parents to form a team with me. So we are off to that adventure! The relay theme is 'relay goes to the races' and my daycare name is Magical Moments so we decided on 'magical moments in the fast lane' lol Its true if you think deeply---those moments are FAST! Ya know we just did a 4 mile walk for MS. I talked Joe into doing this since MS is an auto immune disorder too, like RA only MS is muscles..RA is joints. If we find a cure for one--we may be able to conquer the other We walked as part of our local GIANT team (GIANT is a grocery store we shop at). We went thru Hershey parks Zoo america and thru the town of Hershey. Have you heard of Hershey Park? It makes you feel so good by giving your time to help others in need. I really enjoy getting involved, but I will also know when to say NO---lol You take it easy a.....Happy MOving. We may be doing the same if the loan goes thru on the house we have an offer in on. Being self employed has its drawbacks let me tell ya! Hard to prove income and hard to say the deductions I can take as a biz in my home are what normal people would have anyway and NOT be able to deduct. Argh----very hard unless you show a big profit then have to pay the IRS....lol Such is life I guess. Well, catch ya later Re: [ ] , I hope Joe is feeling better. It¹s tough to be on Enbrel and have to stop when we get sick, but it isn¹t worth the risk to continue it. We all hate this disease. It robs us of so many basic pleasures in life. It¹s good that Joe¹s doctor isn¹t considering surgery on his carpel tunnel. I have to agree with the ortho. We moved to the southwestern part of Florida. We¹re a few hours from Disney. Getting a scooter is the only way to see Disney without being in agony. They are very considerate of people in wheelchairs and scooters. Have you ever camped in their campsites? They are fabulous. We sold our camper before we moved but are looking forward to getting another one. We love camping and have a whole new area to explore. The only plans we have are to get our new house the way we want it, go to the beach and go boating. How about you and Joe? a > > > Hi a..... > I just think its neat that when one of our members are down--we are all down > The care and compassion of this group is like no other.
