Jan,

thanks for posting this. I have used some of the in formation tht i

taught in a class today. A coupe of students wanted to know the

answer to the same question you posed. And, since I had read

through your post, I had a ready made answer.

So, Happy Spring and May all the seeds you have sewn and are

yet to sew come to full fruition!

Bright Blessings!

Jutta

I agree, June, that was very interesting, Jan.

Next I hope you will explore daylight saving time. My former husband

used to say that he had two birthdays since he born shortly before

midnight during DST. " But what about the 2 AM cutoff? " I would ask. " The

rules weren't the same in the 50s " I was told.

Whoever designed the clock on my GE oven did not imagine DST and someone

with arthritis having to change the dang thing with its tiny dial knob

twice a year.

I'll tell you where to go!

Now I can tell her the answer. My youngest son was born on June 21 which

we always thought of as the first day of Summer, in fact, I still do.

Often wondered why these dates changed and now thanks to you I can show

off my new found knowledge LOL.

Hi :

I'll do just that as soon as I am able.....love to explore and pick up knowledge

at the same time. I'm glad everyone found it interesting on the first day of

Spring.

Have company from Oregon coming in this morning so will be sorta tied up for

awhile but will read posts everyday.

Take care all...have a painfree day today or next to painfree. Be sure to give

yourselves some TLC as you all deserve it.

Love, positive thoughts, and prayers.

Enjoy your guests, Jan!

Of course, there's no need to look into DST anytime soon. I was only

half serious. I should look it up myself since I've been wondering about

it for so long.

I'll tell you where to go!
