I'm doing clinical trail for Rituxan

Hi friends--I'm rather new to this list. I also live in western

suburbs of Chicago (I see some other fellow suburbanites on this list-

-let's do lunch!)

Anyway, I'm participating in the clinical trial for Rituxan thru

Northwestern in Chicago. I'm not doing well! I received two infusions

two months ago and have gotten worse, so think I'm getting the

placebo--won't find out for another two months at which time I can

get the Rituxan. Apparently this drug does hold much promise for RA--

it's a two year study before FDA approval for RA so I'll keep ya

posted.

I also have MS and for that reason can't do all the other good drugs

due to potential neurological involvement (Enbrel, humira,

remicade...), so this is it for me--it better work!!
